Job Description, but not limited to: Signature Touch Property Management is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team. This part-time position with the possibility of a full-time position is an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment, while working closely with management to deliver financial services to a diverse client portfolio. Responsibilities: β’ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for assigned properties, including journal entries and supporting schedules. β’ Review and process vendor invoices with accurate coding, required approvals, and proper documentation. β’ Reconcile operating and reserve bank accounts on a monthly basis. β’ Review monthly financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy and completeness. β’ Oversee accounts receivable, including collections, cash applications, and homeowner communications. β’ Research and resolve account discrepancies through analysis and corrective adjustments.
β’ Prepare and distribute assessment invoices for operating and reserves accounts as required. β’ Experienced in managing the collections process, including direct communication with clients regarding past-due accounts, providing clear account explanations, and preparing and presenting delinquency updates to board members. β’ Assist with annual 1099 filings and maintain accurate Certificates of Insurance (COI) and W-9 documentation. β’ Support weekly accounting operations, including wire transfers, check runs, and deposits.
β’ Collaborate with the accounting team and management to streamline processes and enhance department efficiency. Qualifications: β’ Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. β’ Advanced proficiency in bolthires Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, charts) and strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, bolthires Docs, and Outlook. β’ Proficient in online financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient reporting, and adept at navigating other work-related online platforms. β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
β’ Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines. β’ Demonstrate ability to reallocate focus and resources across accounting projects in response to shifting priorities and deadlines. β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with clients. β’ Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and professionalism at all times. β’ Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience; experience in real estate, property management, or association accounting preferred.
Additional Information: β’ Part-time, but with the opportunity to become full-time. β’ Expected Hours: 12-25 Hours β’ Valid Driverβs License β’ This position does NOT qualify for remote work at this time. β’ Office Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm β’ Holiday's Off: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & After, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. β’ Applicants must be able to pass drug test before beginning.
