Job Summary and Responsibilities In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with our team to transfer confidential data from paper and/or electronic formats into our billing software (Timeslips) using a keyboard. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. Your key responsibilities will include: Transferring confidential data from paper and/or electronic (typed) formats into billing software (Timeslips) using a keyboard Typing in data provided directly from staff, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Verifying data by comparison/generating reports to ensure data integrity and quality Sorting and organizing paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: High School Diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning Prior work experience in data entry, preferably in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office, with a strong understanding of data entry principles and practices Typing proficiency, with a preferred level of at least 45 wpm accuracy and no errors, demonstrating strong keyboard skills and attention to detail Some understanding of the internal processes of medical facilities and med-legal terminology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures Preferred qualifications include experience working in a fast-paced office environment, with a strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, management, and clients.
