Job Overview

This remote position, after an initial training period, will require you to work from 11pm to 7am, Monday through Friday. As an overnight Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and helping customers with any questions or concerns they may have. Your primary goal will be to act as an intermediary between potential clients and our financial institution, ensuring that qualified applicants obtain loans in a timely manner while protecting our organization's credibility.

Key Responsibilities Make outbound and receive inbound calls to customers, providing exceptional service and support. Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to customer accounts, ensuring that records are up-to-date and easily accessible. Use basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions regarding loan applications and payment arrangements. Speak clearly, concisely, and effectively, listening to and understanding customer information and ideas, and responding in a professional and empathetic manner.

Maintain a sensitive, tactful, and professional demeanor when interacting with customers, even in challenging or difficult situations. Process card payments accurately, ensuring that all transactions are secure and compliant with relevant regulations. Perform the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems, evaluating their eligibility for loans and making informed decisions.

Follow up with customers to clarify important points, finalize loan details, and keep them informed of rules and obligations. Remain up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services, staying informed about industry developments and trends. Create and renew records, identifying customer needs and exploring all available options to meet their requirements. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.

You should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, although relevant experience and education in a related field may be advantageous.
