Job Overview In this part-time position, you will work 34 hours a week, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. The best part? As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, navigating our imaging software, and collaborating with team members to meet client turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of precision and efficiency. Enter data expediently to meet client turnaround times, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Navigate efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry. Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, demonstrating a strong understanding of our processes and procedures. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Additional Responsibilities Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims and authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, helping to maintain our high standards of quality and accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and a commitment to learning.
Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role, showcasing your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Assessment Requirements If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. To be successful, you will need to achieve a rate of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% accuracy rate, demonstrating your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
