Senior Transportation Engineer, the incumbent performs duties related to the administration and management of State and Federal-Aid funding programs Duties include working with Local Agencies, Regional Transportation Planning Agencies (RTPA) - Imperial County Transportation Commission (ICTC), Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) - Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) and San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), in providing engineering technical assistance, procedural and program guidance, and funds management on locally-administered State and Federal-Aid projects Additionally, the incumbent provides project and program management assistance to the local agency in coordinating the timely reviews of project information with other functional departments in the District, Headquarters (HQ), and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
