They are seeking a smart and capable Litigation Associate Attorney to join their growing team, where the role involves drafting legal documents, participating in trials, and managing client communications. Responsibilities Draft pleadings (complaints, motions, oppositions) Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court Take and defend percipient and expert depositions Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials Active participation in trial Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to work up case file Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation, active participation in negotiating settlements Regular client communication Assist in management of litigation assistants and paralegals Attend regular trainings for professional development Skills Candidate has a JD and is admitted to the California bar Strong written and oral advocacy skills Highly motivated to learn and grow Very well organized Resourceful and persistent Resume References Law school transcript Civil litigation or personal injury experience is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet Insurance Flexible Time Off (unlimited paid vacation)
