Job Description
Computer Integration Technologies, Inc. (CIT) is hiring a Structured Cabling Technician. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage cable infrastructure in commercial and industrial environments while emphasizing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issues Identify, track, and remove abandoned cables Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards Develop in-depth knowledge of National Building Codes and standards Record time and materials used Assist other members of the team with installation and maintenance Work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights on ladders and lifts, and in small, confined spaces Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment Follow CIT and client safety protocols Represent CIT professionally with customers Participate in required training and attend company meetings Perform other duties as assigned Skills High School Diploma or equivalent One year of experience working with low voltage cabling systems or similar Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Power Limited Technician License or ability to obtain within 3 years Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
This position will travel up to 10% of the time out of state for up to 5 days at a time
