The Associate Project Manager will support project planning, coordinate Agile ceremonies, manage project backlogs, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Responsibilities Support the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-bolthires, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that the team stays on track and project goals are clear Help manage the project backlog by ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and clearly communicated to the development team Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle Identify project risks and issues early, and collaborate with the team to mitigate or resolve them Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and overall progress Ensure clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external partners Assist in collecting and analyzing project performance data to identify areas for process improvement Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, risk logs, and status reports Work closely with the team to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 1 year of experience in project management, operations, or a related role, ideally in an Agile environment (internships or co-op positions are also acceptable) Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to contribute to Agile ceremonies and processes Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate project goals, risks, and progress to both technical and non-technical teams Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they impact the project timeline Collaboration & Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders Attention to Detail: Ability to track and monitor project progress meticulously, ensuring all details are covered and deadlines are met Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or bolthires Project Familiarity with Agile project tracking tools like Confluence, Jira, or similar tools Basic knowledge of product management or software development processes Experience working on digital projects, including web or mobile applications, is a plus Benefits A full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
