They are seeking an Entry-Level Highway/Roadway Engineer to join their Transportation team, focusing on planning, design, and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Preparing right-of-way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage solutions, floodplain management strategies, and intersection improvements Collaborating with environmental scientists, utility locators, and surveyors to meet stringent requirements and address maintenance and improvement needs Using CADD to create various engineering drawings, layouts, and models that effectively communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures Actively participating in project meetings, contributing expertise and insights to ensure successful project outcomes Skills Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably MicroStation/OpenRoads/Geopak) Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field Previous experience design or transportation-related coursework Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain within 6 months Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future Benefits Medical Dental Vision Basic life insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off (allocated plans start date 17 days per calendar year) Seven paid holidays One floating holiday Caregiver leave
