Our team works closely with various departments, including Air Tasks, Client and Business, Framework and Services, and Individuals and Finance. As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Group Stage QMO: Quality Management Office
The Quality Management Office (QMO) is responsible for ensuring the quality of applications used by our teams, including airline stewards and pilots.
Our primary focus is on the application side, working with Case's (Scrum Expert, Engineer, Product Owners) to test and validate applications as they undergo changes. We also track metrics to showcase progress and keep stakeholders informed about testing status. Our daily work involves collaborating with teams to ensure that applications are of high quality, which is critical to maintaining operational excellence. Client and Business: Southwest Getaways (SWAV)
The Southwest Getaways (SWAV) group is at the forefront of developing a new, revenue-generating product for arenaflex beyond its core air product.
This is a fast-paced, highly focused business drive where you'll have the opportunity to learn about the air business and the travel industry as a whole. As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, you'll work closely with the SWAV team to support the development of this new product. As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, you'll have the chance to: * Contribute to Group projects and work collaboratively with other Innovation Assistants and workgroups * Gain experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions * Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge * Work on diverse projects, including Air Tasks, Client and Business, Framework and Services, and Individuals and Finance * Follow our Company Purpose of connecting people to what's important in their lives through friendly, reliable, and affordable air travel, while having fun and growing as a future expert Responsibilities and Obligations As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, your responsibilities and obligations may include: * Working with business clients to conduct requirements analysis related to frameworks and business processes to develop quality technical solutions * Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and conform to departmental guidelines * Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and executing to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget * Acting as a resource to ensure effective communication between business and Innovation teams * Participating in framework and acceptance testing * Extent of work varies depending on Group project Abilities, Capabilities, Information, and Work Style To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Experience with bolthires Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required * Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is preferred * Essential knowledge of technical environment required * Openness to Agile methodologies is preferred * Essential understanding of project management procedures * Critical thinking and verbal communication skills required * Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines * Past investigator internship experience within the past year is preferred * Experience solving business problems in a capstone or case competition is preferred * Ability to work in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, empathetic, and collaborative If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for innovation and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
