About the Role As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information across all arenaflex platforms. This includes working with automated data feeds and manual data entry to guarantee the delivery of precise, up-to-date, and engaging sports information.
You'll also play a key role in transforming data into compelling stories, using your analytical skills to identify key trends and insights that drive our content. Key Responsibilities * Ensure sports information disseminated by Details and Data is accurate, timely, and engaging * Work individually and in teams to deliver accurate and timely detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data that power a wide range of arenaflex products and productions * Create and maintain a working knowledge of Details and Data's role in fueling arenaflex digital products and television productions * Conduct quality checks on your own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of scrutiny and attention to detail * Contribute to the development of new ideas, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, working closely with newsroom leaders to coordinate full- and part-time staff * Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and propose potential solutions, communicating rapidly and clearly with colleagues on these matters * Play an active role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes * Participate actively in team and office meetings * Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance * Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures Required Capabilities * Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to rapidly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that drives arenaflex digital and television products * Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production circumstances * Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom Preferred Capabilities * 1+ years of experience working in sports or data, ideally in media * Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes * Working knowledge of arenaflex products and productions * Experience with bolthires Excel and other Office tools * Experience leading or training a team * Ability to speak and write Spanish * Experience incorporating social media in a business or news context Required Education * High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education * Bachelor's degree or equivalent Work Environment and Culture As a member of the arenaflex team, you'll be part of a dynamic and inclusive work environment that values creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
