They are seeking a Consumer Loan Member Service Representative responsible for processing loan applications, preparing and disbursing loan closing documents, and providing excellent service to members and partners. Responsibilities Perform various duties associated with reviewing, processing, and funding Direct and Indirect loan applications Review and analyze loan application documentation to determine loan integrity and validity, of loan applications and packages prior to funding Follow appropriate procedures and guidelines to limit risk exposure.
Review exceptions and escalate to supervisors when necessary Book loans to host system and provide timely funding to members and dealer partners. Prepare and disburse thorough and accurate loan closing documents. Follow up on call backs in order to finalize loans Provide timely and accurate information on the Credit Union's loan programs, as well as prompt, courteous, and professional service to members, branch staff, and dealer partners Promptly answer calls presented to the Consumer Loan queues and meet performance expectations including, average handle time, schedule adherence, and calls taken Achieve monthly sales goals and referrals by identifying members' needs and making appropriate referrals to cultivate a strong membership Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s) Skills High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in a Financial Institution Previous experience working in a Call Center environment Ability to read and understand credit bureau reports Company Overview DCU is a credit union that offers personal and business banking solutions.
