As an Energy Analyst in the BEM Team, you will utilize energy modeling software to analyze energy efficiency and sustainability in residential buildings, ensuring compliance with various energy performance programs. Responsibilities Utilize energy modeling software to generate comprehensive energy efficiency summaries for homes across multiple states Analyze and interpret residential construction components that impact energy efficiency and sustainability, ensuring compliance with Building Energy Performance Programs such as HERS, ENERGY STAR, LEED, Green Building, and Building Code Compliance Programs Develop and deliver projected and confirmed compliance reports for homes at both pre- and post-construction phases Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when analyzing inspection reports, blueprints, and energy audit data collected by the Field Operations Department Identify and communicate auditing discrepancies to management and propose solutions for resolution Work collaboratively with management to develop workarounds and strategies for overcoming project challenges Establish, review, and validate key relationships with all primary parties to ensure alignment and efficiency Interpret and integrate client constraints into project workflows to meet performance expectations Manage and maintain all project data and documentation using Excel, SharePoint, and PEG internal portals (Live Feed & Permit Feed) to ensure accuracy and accessibility Skills Bachelor's Degree in Energy/Sustainability or related field is preferred Must have prior experience in data entry, data analysis, or similar projects in a school or professional setting Must be competent in reviewing inspection reports, blueprints, and/or drawings Must complete the RESNET HERS Modeler Certification within 90 days of employment Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills Must have strong software skills with bolthires Excel and familiarity with SharePoint, bolthires Outlook, and bolthires Word Excellent reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, data entry management, and time management skills Experience with energy efficiency programs such as Energy Star, LEED, and/or Green Building Programs is not required but is a PLUS Experience with energy modeling software (such as Ekotrope, REMrate, bolthires Sketchup) is not required but is a PLUS On the Job Training will be provided and is required for this position Benefits 20 Annual Paid Days Off (12 Days of PTO, Birthday PTO, & 7 Company Paid Holidays) Company Sponsored Medical Insurance that includes a contribution of up to 50% off the monthly premium Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with up to a 4% company match vested immediately Basic Life & Supplemental Life Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Accident & Pet Insurance Corporate Sponsored Events Paid
