They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams in optimizing Ubuntu for next-generation hardware, ensuring high-quality design and code while fostering collaboration and technical delivery. Responsibilities β€’ Lead and develop a team of engineers, ranging from graduate to senior β€’ Oversee commercial engagements and support timely delivery on agreed project milestones β€’ Participate as technical lead on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures β€’ Implement disciplined engineering processes β€’ Integrate and maintain platform-oriented software stacks β€’ Optimize Ubuntu for latest hardware platforms β€’ Display technical leadership internally and within our external communities β€’ Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation β€’ Be an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders Skills β€’ Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university β€’ Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path β€’ Fluency in C, C++, and Python β€’ Experience with Linux and operational systems software (e.g.
