They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams in optimizing Ubuntu for next-generation hardware, ensuring high-quality design and code while fostering collaboration and technical delivery. Responsibilities β’ Lead and develop a team of engineers, ranging from graduate to senior β’ Oversee commercial engagements and support timely delivery on agreed project milestones β’ Participate as technical lead on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures β’ Implement disciplined engineering processes β’ Integrate and maintain platform-oriented software stacks β’ Optimize Ubuntu for latest hardware platforms β’ Display technical leadership internally and within our external communities β’ Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation β’ Be an active part of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders Skills β’ Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university β’ Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path β’ Fluency in C, C++, and Python β’ Experience with Linux and operational systems software (e.g.
