About Rose Law Firm
Rose Law Firm, P.C. is a fully remote, U.S.-based law firm serving business owners, executives, and organizations across a wide range of practice areas, including litigation, transactions, governance, and strategic advisory work.
We operate with a distributed global team that includes U.S.-licensed attorneys and internationally trained legal and administrative professionals. The firm is intentionally built around clear systems, disciplined governance, and long-term talent development—rather than ad hoc decision-making or personality-driven management.
Rose Law Firm is also the founding platform behind related legal innovation initiatives, including Sentric, focused on AI adoption and modern legal service delivery.

Why This Role Matters
As Rose Law Firm grows, strategic thinking must become a repeatable internal capability—not something squeezed in between urgent tasks. This role helps ensure the firm is not only executing well today, but deliberately shaping what comes next.
We are looking for someone who wants to build a career, not just fill a seat.
Important: This role requires comfort with ambiguity, disciplined thinking, and the ability to influence without formal authority. If you are looking for immediate decision-making power, operational control, or narrowly defined tasks, this role will not be a fit.

Role Overview
Rose Law Firm is hiring a full-time Business Strategy Analyst with a clear and intentional path to promotion into a Director of Business Strategy role.
This position exists to help institutionalize forward-looking business and organizational strategy at the firm. The role focuses on identifying patterns, surfacing strategic questions, and supporting executive decision-making—not on day-to-day operations or legal work.
This is a non-legal role. It does not involve practicing law, managing client matters, or supervising legal teams.
Core Mandate
The Business Strategy Analyst will be accountable for:
- Proactively identifying firm-level strategic questions before they become urgent or disruptive
- Synthesizing information across legal operations, firm operational support, finance, talent, and market activity
- Helping leadership identify the firm’s next strategic moves
- Supporting the intentional development and deployment of talent
- Strengthening long-term institutional coherence across Rose Law Firm and related initiatives
This role supports leadership judgment; it does not replace it.

What We Offer Beyond Compensation
This role is designed for someone building toward a long-term career in strategy, operations, or organizational leadership. Beyond the hourly rate, you will gain:
- Direct exposure to executive decision-making. You will work closely with the President and Executive Committee, seeing how a growing professional services firm thinks about growth, talent, risk, and long-term positioning.
- A learning environment with real responsibility. This is not busywork or administrative support. You will be asked to think critically, challenge assumptions, and produce analysis that shapes firm direction.
- A path to increasing responsibility and compensation. We invest in people who demonstrate firm-first judgment and institutional thinking. Team members who contribute to building a world-class organization will see their roles, influence, and compensation grow accordingly.
- Stability and structure. Rose Law Firm operates with clear governance, defined authority, and systematic processes. You will not be guessing what is expected of you or navigating unclear politics.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Signal Detection
Analyze recurring firm-wide signals and performance patterns, with particular attention to:
- Staffing strain and utilization trends, including sustained overtime, uneven workload distribution across teams, chronic understaffing in specific practice areas, and misalignment between available capacity and client demand
- Workflow bottlenecks, including delays in handoffs between attorneys and support professionals, breakdowns in delegation, recurring rework, quality-control failures, or systemic friction caused by unclear ownership or poorly designed processes
- Compensation structures and incentive alignment, including whether current pay rates, raise cadences, bonus structures, and informal incentives are driving the behaviors the firm intends to encourage—or instead producing unintended consequences such as burnout, risk aversion, or suboptimal delegation
- Overtime billing patterns, including persistent or concentrated overtime among specific individuals or teams, the relationship between overtime and matter complexity, and whether overtime reflects true workload necessity, inefficient workflows, or gaps in staffing and training
Move beyond surface-level explanations. Rigorously identify underlying drivers and root causes rather than accepting first-order explanations or treating symptoms in isolation. This includes distinguishing between:
- Capacity constraints versus process design flaws
- Skill gaps versus incentive misalignment
- Short-term spikes versus chronic structural problems
Surface early warning indicators of operational, financial, or talent-related risk before they become acute or disruptive. This includes emerging patterns of burnout, declining productivity, leadership strain, quality slippage, or retention risk. Proactively flag these risks to the President and Executive Committee with clear context and supporting analysis.
Business and Organizational Strategy Support
- Assist in identifying the firm’s next strategic priorities and growth opportunities
