Job Title: Reliable Transportation Specialist
- Schedule:
- Variable, dependent on extracurricular schedules
Typical hours range between 10-20 per week
- Key Responsibilities:
- Transport students in a safe and timely manner to and from school events while adhering to safety procedures and applicable regulations
- Operate and safely drive a vehicle in both favorable and unfavorable weather conditions while transporting passengers to activities
- Maintain courteous behavior while operating vehicles and comply with traffic regulations
- Communicate bus rules, safety protocols, and behavioral expectations to passengers and address any improper behavior immediately
- Facilitate communication with student's parents regarding resolving inappropriate or unsafe behavior
- Assist students and passengers when necessary with boarding and unloading the bus
- Requirements:
- Possession of a current CDL with passenger endorsement
- Ability to operate a vehicle equipped with air brakes (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Skills in organizing resources, being detail-oriented, prioritizing tasks, and working independently
