Part Time Administrative Assistant Job Description Administrative Assistant works as part of a team, with business owner & office manager to run office efficiently. Also works independently on most assignments. Primary responsibilities: β’ Create invoices & track income with Quick Books & Excel spreadsheets β’ Maintain office files including client documentation & payroll β’ Process emails including time sheets & client documentation β’ Develop calendars communicating directly with therapists β’ Manage & keep physician prescriptions up-to-date β’ Work with insurance companies for payments β’ Navigate Internet--Gmail, Google Drive & info searches β’ Track expenses, oversee bank accounts, pay bills & taxes β’ Maintain/troubleshoot technology--computer/printer/fax β’ Assist others with technology Skills needed and experience preferred: β’ MS Office ProficiencyβWord & Excel + Google Docs β’ Proficiency in Quick books β’ Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience β’ Associates in Business Administration preferred Desired qualities: β’ People Oriented--Friendly, Kind, Helpful β’ Trustworthy β’ Organized β’ Flexible β’ Detail-Oriented β’ Respectful of Confidentiality and Privacy β’ Efficient & Productive β’ Excellent Communicator β’ Confident β’ Self-directed with ability to complete tasks with limited supervision β’ Dog Friendly 28 β 32 hrs/wk, flexible--usually 4, 7-8 hr days/wk, between 8 am & 5 pm.
