Job Description
Description • Be the go-to expert who turns legal-technology chaos into calm. As an Associate Consultant on Harbor’s 3E Managed Services team, you will own the end-to-end client experience for some of the world’s most sophisticated law firms and corporate legal departments. Every ticket you close, every enhancement you shepherd, and every training session you deliver directly shapes how attorneys, paralegals, and finance teams get their work done. • Own production issue resolution from first alert to final sign-off.
You will triage, replicate, and remediate application and data-integrity problems inside the 3E platform, documenting root-cause analyses that prevent recurrence. When a client’s month-end accruals are off by pennies or a partner’s dashboard is missing critical WIP, you are the detective who finds the discrepancy and the engineer who fixes it. • Translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements. You will run discovery workshops, map current-state processes, and author user stories that developers can build against.
Whether the ask is a new approval workflow, a custom report, or an integration with a time-capture tool, you will ensure every stakeholder—from the CFO to the records clerk—understands what will change and why. • Deliver “train-the-trainer” sessions that scale knowledge across global offices. You will design curricula, build quick-reference guides, and certify super-users so that Harbor’s expertise lives on long after you log off. Expect to stand in front of 50-person Zoom rooms in Toronto, London, and Los Angeles in the same week.
• Champion continuous improvement. You will mine ticket data to bolthires patterns, propose enhancements, and shepherd them through QA, UAT, and production release. Your test cases will become the gold standard that keeps regression bugs out of live environments. • Build unbreakable client relationships. You will run weekly backlog reviews, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc steering committees, always tying every action back to SLAs and measurable ROI. When a client says, “I wish 3E could…,” you will already have three options ready.
• Contribute to Harbor’s collective brain. You will author Knowledge Base articles, record Loom walkthroughs, and present lunch-and-learns so that colleagues in Singapore can solve tomorrow what you solved today. • Collaborate across time zones and disciplines. You will pair with SQL developers in India, data analysts in New York, and project managers in Vancouver, orchestrating work through Azure DevOps and Slack threads that never sleep. • Travel when it matters. While the role is fully remote, you will pack a bag for on-site discovery workshops or go-live celebrations when face-to-face magic is worth the airfare.
• Report to senior Managed Services leadership with crisp, data-driven insights. You will escalate risks early, celebrate wins loudly, and mentor junior analysts who will one day take your place on the front line. Requirements • 2+ years hands-on experience with Elite 3E or a comparable legal ERP (Aderant, TeamConnect, or SAP Legal). • Proven ability to analyze and resolve data-integrity issues using SQL, Excel Power Query, or similar tools. • Demonstrated success delivering end-user training or “train-the-trainer” sessions in a legal or professional-services environment.
• Nice-to-have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, or related field; certification in 3E, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma. ️ Benefits • Fully remote-first culture with quarterly travel budget for client visits and team meet-bolthires. • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents, plus a $1,000 annual wellness stipend. • 25 days PTO plus 10 company holidays and a year-end shutdown—because even consultants need real rest. • Annual professional-development allowance up to $3,500 for certifications, conferences, or advanced degrees.
