Position Description...
Β Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards
Β Assist in the preparation of audit reports and communicate findings to management
Β Participate in the development and implementation of audit plans and procedures
Β Perform testing of controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations
Β Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements
Β Provide support to audit teams and assist in the training of new staff members
Β Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards
Audit Associate Requirements
Β Bachelors degree in Accounting
Β CPA or CPA Candidate a plus
Β 2-7 yearsΒ experience
Β Experience with audit and review engagements
Β Construction engagement experience a plus (but not required)
