Role Summary
Kodi Connect hosts exclusive, invitation-only networking events for senior executives in cybersecurity, IT, and technology leadership.
Our events are intentionally small and curated (typically 20–25 executives) and held in premium venues such as five-star hotels across the United States.
This role is responsible for traveling to events and running them onsite, ensuring everything is prepared correctly and the evening runs smoothly.
You will act as Kodi Connect’s host during events, welcoming attendees, guiding the schedule, coordinating with venue staff, and ensuring executives and sponsors have a professional and engaging experience.
When not traveling, you will work remotely supporting event preparation, marketing communication tasks, and community engagement activities.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident, proactive, and ambitious, and who enjoys taking ownership of events while contributing to a growing company.
Travel & Event Responsibilities
You will travel across the United States to run Kodi Connect events onsite.
- Responsibilities include:
- Traveling independently to event locations (typically Wednesday–Friday)
- Arriving early to coordinate with hotel teams on room setup, signage, AV, and catering
- Ensuring the venue understands the event format and schedule
- Managing registration and greeting attendees as they arrive
- Opening the event with a short welcome explaining the format
- Hosting the room and maintaining a professional and engaging atmosphere
- Guiding table rotations and announcements throughout the evening
- Ensuring the event runs smoothly and stays on schedule
- Speaking confidently with senior executives and sponsors
- Collecting feedback from attendees during and after events
- Managing any issues onsite and ensuring a high-quality guest experience
You will often be the only Kodi Connect team member onsite, so confidence and independence are important.
Remote Responsibilities (Between Events)
When not traveling, you will work remotely supporting event planning, marketing communication, and community growth.
- Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with hotels ahead of events to confirm logistics and room setup
- Preparing event materials, signage, and documentation
- Updating internal event sheets and planning documents
- Supporting communication with executives attending events
- Speaking with community members to gather insights and feedback
- Conducting short guest conversations that may be used for marketing content
- Supporting marketing communication tasks that help promote events
- Identifying potential partnerships with media organizations and industry groups
- Helping strengthen the Kodi Connect brand and executive community
- Providing updates to the internal team on event progress and feedback
