About the Role

We're looking for a commission-only recruiter to help build our insurance sales team in New York. This is a pure performance-based opportunity with unlimited earning potential.

The Model:

You source and recruit insurance sales agents. We train them, support them, and get them licensed.

Every time an agent you recruit closes a case with $2,500+ in premium, you earn $500.

This is our carrier's recruiting bonus program, and you receive 100% of it.

What You'll Do

    Sourcing & Pipeline Building:
  • Post jobs and source candidates from LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms
  • Network and generate referrals
  • Maintain active pipeline of 20+ candidates
    Screening & Interviewing:
  • Pre-qualify candidates via phone
  • Conduct initial interviews (individual or group format)
  • Assess candidates for sales aptitude, motivation, and coachability
  • Schedule qualified candidates for next-level interviews
    Accountability & Activation:
  • Track licensing progress using our checklist system
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with new recruits during licensing process
  • Ensure candidates complete licensing requirements on schedule
  • Deliver licensed agents ready to start producing

Compensation

    $500 per case closed by agents you recruit
  • No cap on earnings
  • First-year bonuses only (per program terms)
  • Payment triggered when your recruit writes $2,500+ in business
  • Multiple bonuses per agent as they continue closing deals

Realistic Range: $36,000 - $90,000+ depending on number of producing agents recruited

Ideal Candidate

    You're a fit if you:
  • Have 2+ years recruiting, HR, or sales experience
  • Are comfortable with high-volume outreach (350+ contacts/week)
  • Can work independently and self-manage your activity
  • Are metrics-driven and track your performance
  • Want unlimited income potential with no ceiling
    You're NOT a fit if you:
  • Need a base salary or W-2 employment
  • Aren't comfortable with commission-only compensation
  • Don't like prospecting or candidate sourcing
  • Need daily supervision or management
    Requirements
  • Proven recruiting, talent acquisition, or sales experience
  • Strong phone and communication skills
  • Reliable internet and phone for remote work
  • Minimum 25-30 hours per week availability
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-up skills
  • Must be willing and able to attain a NY Life & Health Insurance License (We provide the course)
