They are seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join their Advanced Facilities Data Centers team, where the role involves applying theoretical knowledge to practical challenges in building mechanical systems, particularly HVAC.


Responsibilities

  • Performing field investigations
  • Interfacing with clients & vendors
  • Sizing and selecting equipment
  • Preparing construction design packages
  • Developing design criteria
  • Creating Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs)
  • Creating Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Providing system design calculations
  • Coordinating closely with the designs of other trades
  • Demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated projects

Skills

  • Bachelors degree Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline
  • Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities
  • Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD
  • EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of start
  • Prior work experience with a design firm in an internship or similar setting
