We're proud to be a champion of childhood, and we believe that our unique brand is driven by team members who share our values and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. **The Role** As a Customer Analyst, you'll be part of our Customer Analytics team within the Ecommerce department. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customer segmentation strategies, analyze customer data, and provide insights that inform marketing initiatives. Your expertise will help us better understand our customers, identify key trends and behaviors, and develop targeted marketing strategies that drive business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Own customer segmentation rules across our activation channels (paid, email, SMS, and others), partnering with channel managers to develop campaigns utilizing this knowledge. * Enhance customer data in our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and marketing platforms to build a robust customer profile across many dimensions to enable personalization and response. * Maintain customer data quality by performing routine audits of business rules, validating customer counts across segments, and proactively resolving issues when encountered. * With the support of database administrators, serve as customer data steward, coordinating to ensure accurate data integration and synchronization of data among systems. * Partner and collaborate with data science providers to build and utilize scoring models that predict performance across various dimensions (discount, churn, product affinities, etc) as necessary. * Coordinate with the marketing operations team to deliver audience data, proactively responding to requests and resolving issues to ensure timely launch of campaigns. **Marketing & Customer Analytics** * Perform standardized analyses to provide insights into business, campaign, and customer performance as well as recommend future initiatives. These reports will be developed in either SQL or Power BI (or similar platform). * Establish baselines for campaign performance expectations by segment and measure results against benchmarks. * Deliver key insights to educate and inform key stakeholders of business performance through a customer lens. * Partner with BI teams in IT and finance to automate new reports or enhance existing reports in Power BI as necessary. * Design and measure in-market tests to establish incremental impact of new initiatives on key business outcomes. * Deliver other analytics as requested. **What You'll Bring** * Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in business, marketing, economics, social sciences, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. * 2-4 years of hands-on experience in working with marketing and customer data, preferably in a retail organization with a digital presence. Experience building predictive scoring models is a plus. * Passion for improving customer experience and understanding customer behavior. * Above-average programming expertise in SQL, Python, or similar programming language in BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar platform. Hands-on work experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP), Email Service Provider (ESP), and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
