Job Summary
The Customer Care Representative position at arenaflex is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity that requires you to reside within an hour of the arenaflex Bristol, VA office. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for learning and developing the skills necessary to serve our customers and community well. This will involve confirming appointments, following up to ensure excellence and professionalism, setting customers up for success with billing and their customer portal, and providing exceptional support to resolve any issues or concerns they may have.
Key Responsibilities Guide customers through billing changes during acquisitions or transitions, reviewing account information, service plans, pricing, installation fees, and equipment needed for installation to ensure accuracy. Resolve billing issues quickly and efficiently through phone calls, email, and chat, providing excellent customer service and support. Walk customers through the billing cycle, auto-pay, paperless billing, customer portal, and take their first payment, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.
Call customers with outstanding debts to collect overdue payments and update account notes for collection efforts, handling each situation with professionalism and courtesy. Process collections in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Complete install tickets in the morning and throughout the day to aid in accuracy for billing and inventory, ensuring that all customer information is up-to-date and accurate. Set up new customers, answer questions, or make changes to customers' billing or services, providing exceptional support and ensuring that all customer needs are met.
Work consistently in Excel, SONAR, and project management software/database, utilizing these tools to streamline processes and improve customer outcomes. Review construction drawings in SONAR for new account setup, ensuring that all customer information is accurate and up-to-date. Collaborate with peers, leaders, and other departments, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
Above-average understanding of Internet and/or wireless technology, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve customer issues and improve their overall experience. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read, follow instructions, communicate, and document clearly, ensuring that all customer information is accurate and up-to-date. The ability to learn new processes and skills, grow knowledgeable of systems, and develop proficiency in arenaflex values, organizational requirements, and competencies, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
The ability to work in a stationary position for 8-10 hours, with flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays, as required. Preferred qualifications include: Previous experience in customer service or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues and improve their overall experience.
