- *Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Customer Service Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through various channels, including:
- **Answering inbound phone calls**: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions with a high degree of accuracy.
- **Driving customer loyalty**: Provide excellent service, accurate product and service knowledge, and look for ways to reduce customer effort in ordering, shipping, order inquiry, and return/refund experiences.
- **Keeping customers informed**: Update customers on the status of their orders, reconcile errors, and resolve post-order issues, such as returns and follow-ups.
- **Acting as a liaison**: Collaborate with customers, manufacturers, and freight carriers to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Meeting performance requirements**: Exceed customer service skills, accuracy, schedule adherence, speed to resolution, and other performance metrics.
- **Partnering with escalation groups**: Work with escalation teams to resolve complex customer cases, provide additional order support, and handle customer follow-ups.
- *Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- **Age requirement**: Be at least 18 years old.
- **Work authorization**: Be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: 2+ years of customer service or retail sales experience.
- **Leadership experience**: No direct leadership experience required.
