Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Entry and Pharmacy Operations Coordinator to in a remote work capacity. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for helping the prescriber assessment process, reviewing and organizing Prescriber Evaluation Referral Forms (PERF), gathering internal and external prescribing data, and coordinating prescriber and patient mailings within unique time frames. You will also create and allow the release of COMPASS and RHM communications, generate ad hoc reports for the prescriber assessment team, and assist in presentations to the Integrity and Patient Safety teams.
Key Responsibilities Research and analyze managed substance orders placed manually at the shop level to determine if the orders are suspicious based on ordering patterns and circumstances, and take suitable actions to educate the individual on proper ordering approaches. Generate reports and provide data to DEA dealers on shops dispensing patterns, and prescriber or patient profiles within a 48-hour window. Build ad hoc queries to pull data outside of regular reporting requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge about topics such as managed substance ordering approaches, GFD policies, and DEA licensing requirements.
Assist shops and field supervision with questions via email and contact on various related topics. Assist analysts in growing and reviewing shop audits for managed substance losses. Collaborate with Pharmacy Managers and Supervisors to ensure that losses are reported within the required time frame and with 100% accuracy. Manage prescriber price ticket decision system, validate and update prescriber data, and collaborate with Pharmacists to ensure that any prescription blocking is legitimate. Research and analyze requests for increases to managed substance allocations, making informed decisions based on collaboration with Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and item vendors.
Mitigate risk to the organization by ensuring that due diligence is completed and documented. Assist in the implementation and updating of the Good Faith Dispensing and bolthires Drug Good Faith Dispensing policies. Utilize skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to query databases to help analysts in the creation of presentations and training for shop staff and supervision. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
Required certification in Certified Pharmacy Technician as granted by PTCB. Experience with prescriber licensing requirements (NPI, DEA, and state licenses). Intermediate-level skills in bolthires Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with querying databases. Experience with reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive the development of outcomes and find solutions. Experience communicating effectively (written and verbal) as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with internal arenaflex systems, including SIMS and IC+. Experience with managed substance ordering approaches within arenaflex (PDQ's, RxQuick Order, and Passport).
