Job Summary
The Director of Data Analytics will be responsible for coordinating a predefined area of work within the organization to achieve business objectives and designated financial and quality outcomes. This role will have a significant impact on the organization's short-term and long-term results, affecting explicit clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the ability to make decisions that fundamentally affect the organization and its stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Builds conventional structures and techniques for approaching major strategic issues, utilizing existing resources and creating new innovative ideas across the organization.
Ensures process and underlying fit with key stakeholders and proceeds as a point of contact for cross-functional teams and partners in developing and executing strategies. Creates effective working relationships with stakeholders to accomplish designated objectives and arrangements. Guides key stakeholders on subject matters and partners cross-functionally to interpret and define business needs for the area of responsibility. Develops short-and long-range strategies, plans, and significant objectives, and administers the execution of strategies, cycles, and arrangements that have a critical effect upon the organization.
Makes suggestions for the detailing of the strategies and working plans of the predetermined area of responsibility, then executes or changes the working plans of the specialty unit coordinated. Shares complex data connected with subject matters and communicates with senior management to stay informed concerning targets. Works with outside vendors and third parties to create and maintain positive relationships, and builds and enhances key internal and external contacts. Sets financial, operational, and quality goals and creates/supervises working designs for the area of responsibility.
Ensures growth and improvement of customer awareness, market share, and determined drives, and reviews the competitive marketplace, making suggestions for changes in accordance with operational and strategic activities based on recognized data. Essential Qualifications
The successful candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. At least 2 years of experience establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders within a network organization to foster strategies that meet division objectives within budget and timelines.
Experience creating strategic drives that align with business objectives and budget. Experience identifying operational issues and prescribing and executing strategies to resolve issues. Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating at the executive level. Experience managing client-facing programs and contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have: A graduate degree/MBA. Experience with advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.). Experience with system administration (e.g., Masters, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.). Experience using business intelligence tools in support of data analysis (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Masters, etc.). Certification as a Salesforce administrator or developer. Experience in training, coaching, and developing less senior colleagues.
Experience designing and executing financial models in support of complex business drives. Experience communicating with executive-level leadership both internally and to client organizations. Experience with project management (e.g., planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve the successful completion of specific project objectives and targets). Experience with systems such as Cure and GIS. Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, data warehouse management, and statistical concepts.
