Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Health Customer Service Representative to. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for handling client relationships, managing cases, and coordinating medical documents. Key Responsibilities Handling receipt of new cases, including intake, review, and verification of information and requests Drafting cases by entering information into our system, AccessDS Working with clients to gather missing information and ensuring proper documentation Sorting, organizing, and creating medical document listings as required Monitoring, processing, and tracking cases to ensure deadlines are met Assigning new cases to physicians for review, taking into account location, reviewer availability, and client requirements Ensuring assigned physicians have no conflict of interest with case assignments Updating clients frequently on case progress and communicating with them via phone and email Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an administrative or clerical role in a business office environment Experience working in a healthcare environment (medical office, insurance claims, etc.) is preferred Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in bolthires Operating System, bolthires Chrome search engine, and Gmail Stellar written and verbal communication skills, with a high comfort level in speaking with clients, claimants, and physicians Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and quickly changing priorities Excellent organizational skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: An Associate's Degree or higher Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on client satisfaction Knowledge of insurance claims processing and medical terminology Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
