Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers to address a variety of topics, from shopping for new pets to finding the perfect chew toy or resolving issues Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-bolthires as needed to ensure contact resolution Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness when interacting with customers and team members Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual collaboration tools, such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams, to contribute to a customer-centric culture of collaboration Demonstrate a willingness to learn, sharing feedback and operating in a culture of open-mindedness and growth Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening, as demonstrated in a written assessment Ability to multi-task, navigating computer systems and taking notes while maintaining a conversation with customers Proficiency in using computers for data entry, rapid navigation through systems, and internet searches to support customers High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, including shifting schedules and working overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment Familiarity with pet-related products and services Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or other customer service platforms Technical Requirements To ensure a seamless remote work experience, you'll need: A dedicated work area that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and free from distractions, including background noise A reliable, wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed) A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify A webcam for virtual collaboration and communication arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam.
