Key Responsibilities
The part-time remote data entry and marketing specialist will be responsible for contributing directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories.
The successful candidate will analyze critical data, integrate findings and recommendations into category plans, and drive strategic execution of daily operational activities. Key responsibilities include: Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories Analyze critical data and integrate findings and recommendations into category plans Drive strategic execution of daily operational activities, including works off-rack plans, tracks promotional period, and performs present analysis to make corrective actions if necessary Collaborate with an internal team of arenaflex experts in Stock, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock Create and maintain areas of strength for competitive analysis; seek out new competitive opportunities and make recommendations Stay up-to-date with changes in the market Research customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive environment Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application Technical expertise in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; some Access or other database knowledge Willingness to travel 5-10% Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred qualifications include: Experience in data entry, marketing, or a related field Knowledge of retail operations and category management Experience with data analysis and reporting tools Strong understanding of the healthcare and retail industries Skills and Competencies Required for Success To excel in this role, the successful candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Technical expertise in MS Office and other software applications Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes Strong understanding of retail operations and category management
