Key Responsibilities Input new information into database systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Create and manage spreadsheets to track and analyze data, using tools such as MS Office Word and Excel Control data probity by performing comparative analysis of different sources, identifying discrepancies and errors Regularly update existing database system records, ensuring data is current and up-to-date Produce reports and retrieve data as requested, providing insights and supporting business decisions Perform regular backup and security database activities, ensuring data is protected and secure Document, organize, and store relevant documents and records, maintaining a high level of organization and accessibility Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Previous working experience as a Data Entry Clerk for at least 1 year, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency Fast typing skills, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and databases, including MS Office Word and Excel At least 1 year of experience working with spreadsheets, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets Great attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and precision Sense of ownership and pride in your performance, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results Critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns Team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others Good time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Experience working with database management systems, such as MySQL or Oracle Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES)
