As a Specialist, Building Controls, you will be responsible for ensuring customer and partner safety and comfort while minimizing support costs for complex issues. You will achieve this by conducting diagnostic procedures, providing proactive solutions to problems, applying advanced software techniques, implementing plans, and following up to ensure the effectiveness of solutions.

Key Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring customer and partner safety and comfort while minimizing support costs. Perform specialized or unique programming tasks to building controls systems, adjusting or modifying the building controls techniques as needed.
Identify and respond to patterns with alerts, freezes, and work orders, and respond to manufacturer recalls. Collaborate with teams in building performance and controls, utilizing and sharing resources, information, and tools to achieve common goals. Determine customer needs and business needs, planning and executing work tasks to meet these needs while ensuring timelines and work quality are achieved. Offer advice, feedback, and support to ensure work quality is achieved on time, demonstrating and assisting others in adapting to change or new challenges.
Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to address business issues, collaborating with managers, colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders. Analyze and apply information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience in building controls, customer service, and sustainability is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of advanced software techniques and programming languages. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in a related field, such as facilities management, energy management, or construction. Knowledge of building automation systems, energy management systems, and other related technologies.
