Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Administrator to manage and support on-premises and cloud-based (IDMC) data integration environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installation, configuration, performance tuning, and modernization of Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC platforms, ensuring high availability, optimized performance, and compliance with enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities • Installation, Configuration & Environment Management • Install, configure, and deploy Informatica PowerCenter components such as Repository Service and Integration Service.
• Set up and manage on-premises domains, Secure Agents, and hybrid environments connected to the IDMC platform. • Administer the CDI-PC (Cloud Data Integration – PowerCenter) service for hybrid cloud workloads. • Manage environment migrations across development, QA, and production systems. • Backup, Recovery & Security Management • Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for repositories and configurations to ensure business continuity. • Create and manage user roles, permissions, and authentication policies across PowerCenter and IDMC.
• Enforce compliance with data security and governance standards. • Performance, Monitoring & Troubleshooting • Monitor workflows and jobs, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. • Diagnose and resolve system, service, and ETL-related issues. • Establish performance baselines and implement tuning best practices to ensure system efficiency. • Upgrades, Patches & Modernization • Plan, schedule, and execute software upgrades and patch management activities. • Leverage Informatica’s self-service modernization tools to migrate PowerCenter workloads to IDMC, reducing manual effort and risk.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless cutovers and rollback procedures. • Collaboration, Documentation & Governance • Work closely with ETL developers, data architects, and business analysts to support integration initiatives and project deliverables. • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and operational best practices. • Contribute to continual service improvement through process optimization and automation. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $54.81/hour - $85.64/hour.
