Responsibilities β€’ Set up, administer, and maintain data sharing/transmission among KH applications and external, third-party systems β€’ Ensure that all interfaces meet KH privacy standards, HIPAA requirements, and other regulations β€’ Adhere to KH Information Systems framework and values β€’ Participate on project teams to identify interface support needed to complete application installations, upgrades, and enhancements β€’ Manage the entire life cycle of interface development, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go‐live, and support β€’ Coordinate the implementation of final interfaces into production with the appropriate customers, vendors, and IS team members β€’ Utilize and troubleshoot standard HL7 communication methods including TCP/IP and SFTP β€’ Triage and resolve incident tickets regarding interface problems β€’ Ensure integrity of shared data extracts β€’ Develop workflow automations using the Ensemble Integration Engine β€’ Review peer code development for validity β€’ Serve as administrator for Ensemble Integration Engine β€’ Train/mentor new members of the team β€’ Stay current with API technologies (FHIR, REST, and SOAP) and share that knowledge with the team β€’ Stay current with healthcare-industry interface standards and share that knowledge with the team β€’ Assist in developing standards and processes for developing and maintaining KH interfaces β€’ Facilitate/assist with team code reviews β€’ Stay current with Epic and InterSystems Ensemble Integration Engine and share that knowledge with the team β€’ Stay current with the interoperability landscape and share that knowledge with the team Requirements β€’ Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience β€’ 5+ years of experience as an integration engineer or related field β€’ Epic Bridges Certification β€’ InterSystems Ensemble Integration Engine Certification β€’ Experience with the Intersystem Ensemble Integration Engine β€’ Experience with HL7, XML, and EPIC interfaces β€’ Prior experience working in healthcare industry with Epic EMR β€’ Epic Chronicles Database Programmer Certification Apply tot his job
