Role Summary An Intermediate Technical Writer to transform existing user self-serve help content into short-form, single-intent documentation for Adobe products across web, desktop, mobile, and in-app surfaces. The role requires restructuring and rewriting in-scope content using defined content patterns, while ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and UX-friendly readability at scale. Key Responsibilities Transform in-scope user help content on the client platform into concise, task-focused articles using established content patterns (currently: Tasks, Concepts, References, Troubleshooting, FAQs, What’s New, Release Notes; more may be added). Ensure content is clear, accurate, concise, easy-to-understand, and user-friendly. Follow client style guides, voice & tone, and defined content patterns. Collaborate with client stakeholders/SMEs to understand product features and documentation needs. Perform UI validation (“keystroking”) to confirm article steps and UI labels match the current app experience. Refresh screenshots per client guidelines; incorporate multimedia elements (images/videos/infographics) when required. Leverage AI-assisted content creation tools and custom LLM models to increase authoring efficiency while maintaining quality and accuracy. Optimize content for modularization, reuse, SEO, and discoverability across multiple surfaces. Support content operations: proofreading/editing, tagging, document uploads, content migration, and maintenance as required. Apply feedback and collaborate closely with senior writers/SMEs/editors to continuously improve content quality and consistency. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in technical writing and/or content development. Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail (grammar, clarity, structure). Ability to understand product functionality and present instructions clearly for end users. Familiarity with CMS and collaborative authoring tools (or strong ability to learn quickly). Exposure to DITA/XML and/or structured authoring; version management systems. Willingness to learn and apply AI-assisted writing tools / LLM workflows responsibly. Working awareness of SEO, online readability, and structured content practices. Basic understanding of UX writing/accessibility/localization considerations. Nice-to-Have Familiarity with Adobe tools or comparable creative/product ecosystems. Experience with image/video capture and lightweight visual editing tools for help content.
