We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Workwarp. As a key member of our distribution center team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate tasks for arrivals and departures, ensuring timely and efficient processing of inventory
- Accurately manage inventory levels, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
- Preserve the quality of systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Ensure vendor compliance, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and carriers
- Streamline outbound shipments to stores, prioritizing efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Perform administrative and clerical duties, providing support to various functional areas within the DC
- Routine maintenance of hardware and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime
- Align organizational resources with vendors, associates, and carriers, driving growth and collaboration
- Utilize available resources effectively, minimizing the need for continuous direction and ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal suppliers and customers, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in the DC and service stores, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail
- Exercise caution when working with tools or heavy equipment, prioritizing safety and minimizing risk
Requirements:
- Secondary education credential (GED or high school diploma)
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in a distribution center or similar environment
- Strong attention to detail, minimizing errors and improving overall quality of work
- Effective time management and organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently in a group, valuing collaboration and teamwork
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
