Job Description
About Social Prosperity Partners
Social Prosperity Partners is a national civic facilitation and leadership development firm serving local governments, nonprofits, and community leaders nationwide. We operate in a strictly nonpartisan capacity, strengthening dialogue, governance, and collaborative problem-solving at the local level.
About the Podcast
Community Catalysts, a weekly podcast produced by Social Prosperity Partners, features civic leaders sharing hard-earned lessons about leadership, governance, trust, and community problem-solving.
The show is thoughtful, substantive, and grounded in real-world experience. Its goal is both inspiring and instructive—offering practical insights while reminding listeners of the deeper purpose of public service. It is not political commentary or advocacy journalism. Instead, it highlights leaders who demonstrate principled public leadership rooted not in ideology or partisanship, but in integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to strengthening communities and advancing the public good.
Over time, the aim is for Community Catalysts to become a national library of civic leadership wisdom—a place where current and future leaders can learn from the experiences of those serving communities across the country.
Interviews are conducted by the host. Audio editing is handled separately.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time independent contractor to help steward and grow the ecosystem surrounding each episode of Community Catalysts—from guest recruitment and positioning to promotion, audience growth, and ongoing relationships with past guests.
This role is both operational and strategic. The person in this role will help shape how each episode is positioned, how the audience grows, and how the expanding network of past guests becomes an ongoing resource for civic leadership nationwide.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and relationship builder who understands audience growth and can operate professionally in a nonpartisan civic space.
This is an ongoing engagement with growth potential, not a one-time project.
