About the position As a pricing analyst for the Commercial Lines Pricing team, you'll conduct research and analysis to support the profitability and growth of our Transportation Network Company and upcoming products. In this role, you'll calculate pricing levels and implement innovative pricing methodologies to make recommendations to senior leadership and external customers on state product design, rating factor relativities, and rate levels. Requirements • A minimum of four years of analytical work experience. • Successful completion of Progressive's Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive's Internal Analyst Trainee program and a minimum one year analytical work experience. • Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience. • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience.

Nice-to-haves • Prior pricing or product analyst experience. • Experience working with PowerPivot, R, or SQL. • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions. • Experience conducting ad-hoc analyses using data analysis tools. • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, and graphing.
