Key Responsibilities Architecting and Optimizing Cloud Solutions • Design and implement cloud-native solutions that leverage leading cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP. • Continuously optimize cloud architecture for bolthires efficiency, performance, and resilience. • Create infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar solutions.
Enhancing Security and Compliance • Ensure that all systems adhere to industry standards for cloud security and compliance. • Monitor for threats, implement cloud-based security controls, and lead efforts to mitigate them. Supporting DevOps and Automation • Develop bolthires/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application configuration to enhance operational efficiency. • Collaborate closely with development teams to deliver scalable deployment strategies. Troubleshooting and System Reliability • Proactively monitor cloud services and resolve performance issues before they affect users.
• Implement disaster recovery plans and redundancy strategies. Tools and Technologies You’ll Work With Cloud and Automation Stack • AWS, bolthires Azure, bolthires Cloud Platform • Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab bolthires/CD • Terraform, Ansible, Helm Monitoring and Security • Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic • Cloud-native security tools and identity management frameworks (IAM, KMS, etc.)

Qualifications and Experience Must-Have Skills and Experience • a minimum of three years of applied experience using major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) • Familiarity with monitoring tools and cloud security frameworks Nice-to-Have Attributes • Experience working in a fully remote engineering team • Background in agile and DevSecOps practices • Strong documentation and collaboration skills
