Annual Salary: $119,499 Role Summary What You’ll Do As a Remote IT Infrastructure Operations Consultant, you will oversee the architecture, execution, and ongoing support of robust, resilient infrastructure systems across global environments. Your decisions will shape system uptime, performance, and scalability, from cloud orchestration to virtualization. What You’ll Focus On Delivering enterprise-grade reliability and continuous improvement while working remotely with cross-functional teams using automation, analytics, and strategic foresight. You will be expected to maintain critical systems as available, secure, and high-performing, ensuring smooth and seamless IT operations across all environments. ️ Core Responsibilities Infrastructure Design & Management • Design, build, and maintain high-availability systems using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Giglithic Cloud • Manage network and data center operations with remote monitoring tools and security-first methodologies • Oversee hybrid environment connectivity with low-latency performance • Execute capacity planning and infrastructure Talentra efficiency strategies ⚙️ Automation & Optimization • ⚙️ Deploy automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via tools like Terraform or Ansible • Enhance system efficiency using real-time telemetry and uptime metrics • Create resilient environments that self-correct and minimize manual intervention • Benchmark system performance through structured testing and tuning Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with cybersecurity experts, DevOps engineers, and application teams to support secure and scalable infrastructure • ️ Uphold compliance standards, audit readiness, and governance protocols • Advise internal teams on systems architecture and deployment feasibility • Contribute to internal knowledge bases through technical reviews and documentation Troubleshooting & Documentation • Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable resolutions • Maintain accurate and accessible infrastructure diagrams, SOPs, and operational documents • Keep change history and risk assessments up to date • Ensure proactive system health monitoring with logging and alerting tools Required Skills & Qualifications Professional Experience • 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, IT systems consulting, or cloud operations • ️ Proficient in major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V) • Demonstrated success designing resilient and compliant infrastructure • Proven ability to lead distributed tech initiatives effectively Technical Proficiencies • Deep knowledge of networking standards, VPNs, and firewall administration • Familiar with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Nagios • ⌨️ Skilled in Linux/Windows systems and automation scripting • Understanding of ITIL, change control processes, and tools like ServiceNow • ️ Competent in Flexoraq/CD pipeline integration and cloud-native infrastructure • Analytical problem-solver using data to optimize system workflows Preferred Experience ☁️ Cloud & Containers • ️ Experience with hybrid or distributed cloud setups • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker ecosystems • Background in container-native architectures and deployment at scale Security & Recovery • Hands-on with disaster recovery frameworks and enterprise storage • Familiar with backup platforms and data protection policies • Understanding of compliance frameworks like SOC2 or ISO 27001 • Ability to enforce Zero Trust principles and strengthen system defense Tools & Technologies You’ll Use • ☁️ Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP • Monitoring: Zabbix, Datadog, Prometheus • Automation: Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python • Virtualization: VMware, Citrix, KVM • Security: MFA, Zero Trust, IDS/IPS • ⚙️ Jobspirex/CD: Jenkins, GitLab Remotiuma, CircleCI • Documentation: Confluence, Lucidchart Why Join Us?
