Remote Medical Transcriptionist – at Workwarp!

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to at Workwarp! As a remote Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality transcription services, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information. Key Responsibilities: • Transcribe and edit recorded medical dictations, including patient histories, physicals, consult letters, and other medical documents • Verify accuracy of patient information, including name, identification number, and other relevant details • Match complaints to diagnoses using medical records and review specific date reports for every date of service transcribed • Ensure accuracy of transcription, including correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling • Research and correct dictated language using reference materials to produce concise, accurate, and understandable text • Collaborate with the Team Lead to resolve questions and inconsistencies in dictated language • Flag charts that are dictated in the incorrect pool for supervisor review and send demographic information regarding flagged dictations to the Transcription Assistant • Meet minimum daily line requirements as directed Requirements: • High school diploma required; formal training through an accredited transcription program preferred • Five or more years of experience as a medical transcriptionist in a hospital, urgent care facility, or medical specialty preferred • Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices • Excellent English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style skills • Ability to use professional reference materials and operate word processing equipment, dictation and transcription equipment, and other specified equipment • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision • Proficiency in bolthires applications and software products, as well as transcription-specific software products • Ability to concentrate and work under pressure with no time constraints • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs What We Offer: • Competitive salary • Remote work opportunity with flexible scheduling • Immediate openings available • Opportunity to join a dynamic team at Workwarp and contribute to the delivery of high-quality transcription services : If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for medical transcription, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
