The Returning Student Advisor will support students in restarting their educational journey by providing academic guidance, fostering effective communication, and ensuring student success and retention in their courses. Responsibilities Provide academic guidance to learners, assisting them with course navigation, academic policies, and course expectations Regularly engage with learners as a primary point of contact to address their non-academic inquiries and concerns, via voice, text, social media, and video Collaborate with team members to support retention initiatives.
Identify at-risk learners and provide guidance to enhance their chances of short- and long-term academic success Contribute to achieving individual, team, and departmental retention goals Participate in and contribute to team collaboration and communication.
