They are seeking a Staff Analyst to optimize their home repair and online marketplace platform through advanced analytics, focusing on user behavior, market trends, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities β’ Analyze user behavior, marketplace dynamics, and service provider performance to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement β’ Develop predictive models to enhance marketplace matching (e.g., home repair service providers to customers), pricing optimization, and user retention strategies β’ Work cross-functionally to provide data-driven insights for feature enhancements, platform updates, and A/B testing initiatives β’ Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, contributing to overall business strategy and platform growth β’ Create dashboards and reports to monitor key marketplace metrics (e.g., response times, job completions, user satisfaction) in real-time β’ Ensure data integrity by collaborating with data engineering teams to maintain accurate, scalable data solutions β’ Mentor junior analysts and assist in refining analytics processes, models, and reporting tools β’ Stay current with trends in the home services industry, online marketplace developments, and emerging data tools to keep our platform competitive Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field β’ 8+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field β’ Strong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or R β’ Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker β’ Proven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance marketplace performance β’ Strong communication skills to present complex data to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders β’ Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment β’ Experience in coaching or mentoring junior team members β’ Master's degree Benefits β’ This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
