The successful candidate will focus on qualified plans counseling and provide legal advice related to ERISA and executive compensation within a global law firm. Responsibilities β’ ERISA expertise, specifically focusing on qualified plans counseling (including 410(k), 403 (b), Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, Multiemployer and Multiplye Employer Plans and ESOPS; and M&A and Executive compensation legal advice and/or ERISA Title I experience in the context of investment funds and/or structured finance Skills β’ Minimum of 6 years, AmLaw ERISA experience β’ Candidates should have 6+ years of experience with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), with a specific focus on qualified plans counseling (including 401(k), 403(b), Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, Multiemployer and Multiple Employer Plans, and ESOPS) β’ Ideal candidates will also have experience with M&A and executive compensation and/or ERISA Title I experience in the context of investment funds and/or structured finance β’ All candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and the ability to work well on a team Company Overview β’ Major, Lindsey & Africa is the worldβs leading legal search firm.
