About the position
- Responsibilities
- Create and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for the field sales team.
- Analyze and improve current training programs and develop training materials.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation training and Phase One Sales Training for new hires.
- Develop and deliver ongoing upskilling training through various formats such as workshops and videos.
- Conduct field rides with Territory Managers to provide on-the-job coaching.
- Partner with sales and marketing leaders to align training programs with product portfolio.
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers and marketing leadership to incorporate new products into training programs.
- Support strategic planning for the department, including budgeting and training requirements.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science, business, or marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional sales experience, with 3 years in diabetes medical devices preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver sales training initiatives that drive results, with at least 1 year of sales training experience.
- Experience in creating and delivering training programs, including virtual formats.
- Familiarity with adult learning and instructional design strategies.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM programs is required.
- Ability to travel at least 80% in the assigned territory.
