About this Role
The Workplace experience and facilities manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our New York City office, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient workplace for all employees. This role involves managing facilities, coordinating office services, and implementing initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating exceptional workplace experiences.

Your responsibilities β’ Facilities Management: β’ Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the office, including coordinating with vendors for cleaning, repairs, and equipment maintenance β’ Manage office space planning and layout, ensuring optimal use of space and compliance with safety regulations β’ Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure all office technology and infrastructure are functioning properly β’ Handle all aspects of office move management, including planning, budgeting, and execution β’ Workplace
Experience: β’ Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction β’ Organize and manage office events, such as team-building activities, wellness programs, and social gatherings β’ Ensure the office environment is welcoming and inclusive, fostering a sense of community and belonging β’ Manage the office amenities, including kitchen supplies, snacks, and other employee perks β’ Health and Safety: β’ Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations β’ Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular safety drills β’ Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines and other infectious disease prevention measures β’ Vendor Management: β’ Select and manage relationships with vendors for office supplies, maintenance, and other services β’ Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet our standards for quality and service β’ Budget Management: β’ Manage the facilities and workplace experience budget, ensuring bolthires-effective solutions and staying within financial constraints β’ Track and report on budget performance and make recommendations for bolthires savings β’ Employee Support: β’ Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues related to the office environment β’ Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the office β’ Collaborate with HR to address any workplace issues and improve overall employee experience β’ Sustainability: β’ Implement and promote sustainable practices within the office, such as recycling programs and energy-efficient initiatives β’ Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in workplace sustainability βοΈ Is this you?
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field β’ 5+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace experience, or a similar role β’ Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and vendors β’ Proficiency in bolthires Office and other relevant software β’ Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices β’ Experience with budget management and bolthires control β’ A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement β’ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Apply tot his job
