Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Streaming Information and Examination team, where you will play a key role in analyzing data to drive business decisions and optimize our content portfolio. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions. Analyze customer behavior (e.g., type preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities. Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions. Optimize our content launch and episode release strategy. Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention.
Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic navigation. Provide ad-hoc analytical support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward. Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in data analysis. Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python.
Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning methods: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems. Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field. A passion for media and entertainment.
