Job Overview As a Graph/Friending targeted Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will have the possibility to assist in forming significant groups where people can connect with each other. By utilizing your technical skills, analytical mindset, and product instinct, you will help define the studies we build for billions of people and millions of businesses across the world, and change the way they connect and communicate. You will collaborate on a wide range of product and business issues with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and others.
Key Responsibilities Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide range of challenging issues using unique analytical and statistical techniques. Apply technical knowledge with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and presentation of data to develop techniques for our products that serve billions of people and millions of businesses. Identify and measure the success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and tracking of key product metrics to recognize trends.
Define, identify, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations. Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in Product Data Science, including extensive experience with experimentation.
Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R). Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and experimentation/causal inference methods. Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field.
