Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to in the role of Pharmacist Centralized Services. As a Pharmacist with arenaflex, you will be responsible for the execution of medical services methodologies and driving patient wellbeing results.
You will execute patient intervention pharmacy programs and ensure compliance with clinical pharmacy services. You will also be responsible for implementing against identified partner laid out pharmacy programs and driving pharmacy financial performance by executing on pharmacy projects to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for prescription processing from a remote setting and will cultivate strong relationships with clinical communities in your assigned region, acting as a representative and contact of the organization.
Key Responsibilities Carries out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. Drives the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are being met. Drives compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by contemplating, assessing, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
Ensures region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines. Drives local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives. Implements and executes patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance. Supports efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, drug treatment reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
Provides expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership. Supports staff training experiences and development opportunities. Conducts data and clinical reviews and makes strategic moves to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions. Reviews drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment. Provides individualized patient/supplier consultation. Through the use of superior communication skills, wins the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for the pharmacy concerns.
Provides feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations. Responsible for all inquiries, discussions, and gives which relate directly to patient treatment. Provides clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as necessary. Performs other work consistent with the job duties in this description as assigned by management. Observes guidelines and procedures for all job duties to meet objectives.
Complies with company policies and procedures, including all HIPAA rules/regulations. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations. Essential Qualifications Current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority. Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues. Experience working with confidential information. Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends. Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of multiple tasks with varying completion dates.
Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and it is necessary to decide when escalating issues. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
Knowledge of insurance plans. Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus. Basic level skill in bolthires Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or possibly printing worksheets).
Basic level skill in bolthires PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view or possibly running a slide show). Basic level skill in bolthires Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or possibly print functions).
