Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Prescriber Assessment and Compliance team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for helping the prescriber assessment process by reviewing and organizing Prescriber Evaluation Referral Forms (PERF), gathering internal and external prescribing data, and coordinating prescriber and patient mailings within specific timeframes.
You will also create and release COMPASS and RHM communications, generate ad hoc reviews for the prescriber assessment team, and assist in presentations to the Integrity and Patient Safety teams. Additionally, you will help with the Good Faith Dispensing coverage administration. Key Responsibilities * Researches and analyzes managed substance orders placed manually at the store level to determine if the orders are suspicious based on ordering patterns and circumstances, and takes appropriate actions to educate the individual on proper ordering practices.
* Generates reports and provides data to DEA dealers on dispensing patterns, and prescriber or patient profiles within a 48-hour window. * Builds ad hoc queries to pull data outside of regular reporting requirements. * Maintains up-to-date knowledge about issues such as managed substance ordering practices, GFD policies, and DEA licensing requirements. * Assists stores and field supervision with questions via email and phone on various related topics. * Assists analysts in developing and reviewing store audits for managed substance losses.
* Collaborates with Pharmacy Managers and Supervisors to ensure that losses are reported within the required timeframe and with 100% accuracy. * Manages prescriber pricing decision system, validates and updates prescriber data, and collaborates with Pharmacists to ensure that any prescription blocking is legitimate. * Researches and analyzes requests for increases to managed substance allocations, makes informed decisions based on collaboration with Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and object vendors, and mitigates risk to the organization by ensuring that due diligence is completed and documented.
* Assists in the implementation and updating of the Good Faith Dispensing and bolthires Drug Good Faith Dispensing policies. * Utilizes skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to query databases to help analysts in the development of presentations and education for store staff and supervision. Essential Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience as a pharmacy technician. * Required certification in Certified Pharmacy Technician as granted by PTCB. * Experience with prescriber licensing requirements (NPI, DEA, and state licenses).
* Intermediate level skills in bolthires Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). * Experience with query databases. * Experience with reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive outcomes and find solutions. * Experience speaking effectively (written and verbal) as suitable for the needs of the audience. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with internal arenaflex systems, including SIMS and IC+. * Experience with managed substance ordering practices within arenaflex (PDQ, RxQuick Order, and Passport).
